The Knights of Rizal Cabanatuan City
Chapter and Kabataang Pangarap ni Rizal Wesleyan University-Philippines
offered flowers, prayers and moment of silence at the monument of Dr.
Jose Rizal in Cabanatuan City Hall Grounds in observance of the National
Heroes Day.
Sir Edisen F. Mamauag, KCR - the Chapter Commander, addressed the audience and emphasized the importance of remembering the sacrifices of the heroes of our nation, including the unsung or nameless and the local heroes. He further added that emulating their examples will make a difference on this country.

JUST LIKE RIZAL - Young Leaders: Young Achievers

Sir
EDISEN F. MAMAUAG, KCR - the Commander of Knights of Rizal Cabanatuan
City Chapter, spoke in front of more than four hundred (400+) young
leaders of Cavite State University's main campus yesterday in Indang,
Cavite as their Guest Speaker in the recently concluded Leadership
Training and Recognition of Student Organizations.
His talk and
presentation was entitled, "JUST LIKE RIZAL - Young Leaders:
Young Achievers". He highlighted the life, works and teachings of Rizal
and encouraged the participants of the event to emulate the ideals of
the national hero and live up to his dreams for youth and country.
Furthermore, he stressed that just like Rizal, a young leader who had
undergone many trials in life but never gave up until he became an
achiever, the youth of today must also be resilient and must think of
innovative ways to serve and lead in order to achieve their goals and
visions in life.
He ended his inspirational message by challenging the
audience to step out of their comfort zone and find ways to help the
fatherland even in their own little ways.

Joint Meeting, Orientation and Fellowship
The Chapter Council together with the
Kabataang Pangarap ni Rizal Wesleyan University-Philippines Chapter's
Representatives, prospective Knights and Ladies, convened today in a
joint meeting, orientation and fellowship at Lamarang Steakhouse,
Circumferential Road, Cabanatuan City to discuss important matters
related to the Chapter and propose various activities, programs and
projects for Rizalian Year 2014-2016 among others.
The Chapter
Commander, Sir Edisen Flores Mamauag,
KCR also shared his experience and benchmarks noted during the
strategic planning which he participated a week ago. It was a meaningful
time for all the participants of the said meeting, orientation and
fellowship. Dubbing for the prospective Knights will take place tentatively on
August 25, 2014 (National Heroes Day) and the next set tentatively on
September 30, 2014 (Rizal Youth Leadership Institute - WU-P)

The Order of the Knights of Rizal held its Strategic Planning Conference for Rizalian Year 2014-2016 on August 2-3, 2014 at the International Headquarters, Manila. Participants of the said event were the Supreme Council, Council of Leaders, Regional Commanders, Area Commanders, Chapter Commanders and Representatives from various counterpart organizations such as Las Damas De Rizal - Philippines and Kabataang Pangarap ni Rizal (KAPARIZ).
Sir Maximo S. Salazar, KGOR facilitated the discussions which mainly focused on five (5) priority topics such as Membership, Trainings and Education, Communication, Core Values, and Promotion of the Order of the Knights of Rizal.
The event aimed to come up with solutions, innovate ideas, recommendations and comprehensive plan to strengthen the Order so as to be able to deliver great results for its constituents and to deepen its adherence and commitment to the purposes and objectives for which it stands, mainly to study, propagate and emulate the life, works, and teachings of Dr. Jose Rizal.
